HomeAdvisor follows up on every job performed by the contractors we refer to Denver homeowners. In addition to other things, we always ask those who’ve utilized our services what suggestions they might have to help other homeowners. When it comes to painting, Denver area homeowners are in agreement. More than any other advice, they recommend that you talk to multiple contractors, get at least three bids so you can compare prices, and always check references before you hire. “Interview many professionals and get bids before choosing. There is a huge difference in price,” suggests one Denver homeowner. Though another cautions wisely, “Don’t make your decision based on the lowest bid. Get 3-4 bids and look at the big picture [before you sign any contracts]”.
Cal and his team were great and I am very happy with their work. They delivered a results with our interior work and the service surpassed expectations from beginning to end. I happily recommend Cal and would use him again. Chris
YP – The Real Yellow PagesSM – helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business’s suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.
We walked through everything a month ago and I can’t even get a quote sent to me. I have followed up multiple times via email, when I called I reached only their voicemail. It’s frankly unbelievable to me that the company cannot even send a quote over. I’m guessing the paint job will be just as good… I will be choosing another company to do the work.
Also, don’t be afraid to ask if the painters are trustworthy people. Unfortunately, there are plenty of cases where a painter has stolen items from a home or caused damage to the house or injury to the homeowner. Subcontractors may not be as skilled as employees, and the contractor you’re hiring may not have much experience working with them, making them more of a risk. Additionally, ask if the painters are employees or subcontractors, and what the screening or hiring process is like. If the company conducts background checks, that’s a good sign.
If something needs to be replaced, siding or trim, we most likely handle that, without needing to schedule another contractor. Having years of carpentry experience as well, with siding repairs and replacements. An innovator here in Colorado, changing the painting industry to pick a hammer up if a nail needed to be hammered back in or a piece of trim needed replacing. Before 1990, no paint company employees would pick up a hammer.
Paint Denver does a great job and keeps you well informed. Priced out a handful of companies and they were priced just right. Painters were professional and curious. After completion they cleaned up and walked me around the house and addressed any issues I saw. I highly suggest giving them a call for at least an estimate.

Ireland’s Finest recently painted our old house. There was plenty of prep work and high ladders involved, and the results are great. More impressive to me was the professional care for a customer from every person involved. They called before they came. They called when they arrived. Somebody called every day to ask if things were good. They called to say thanks for paying them! If you’re thinking of hiring a painting contractor, you should hire Ireland’s Finest.

I assume I got an inexperienced crew–most looked like they were in high school, someone who looked to be the age of my fifteen year old was the only one who could communicate with me, and on the last day it seemed like someone’s whole family showed up to get the job done.
Not today, has Eco Paint improved the painting industry, making that second nature, and without question. Also changed Denver’s exterior painting industry, by being the first to never accept any money until the job is completed, and you approve, having made this a common business practice nearly 40 years. Going over all options, prices, listing everything down within your quote, keeping paint costs down, all within your pricing and budget.
Yes. A well-established company will have more experience and likely more references for you to reach out to than a new company that’s just getting off the ground. Be sure to ask for references so you can speak to former customers about their experience working with the painter. When speaking to these people, ask about:

Should I paint my brick? If you’re like me, you love the look of a brick house. Strong, sturdy, classic. They come in all shapes and sizes and architectural styles ranging from Bungalow to Colonial, Tudor to Contemporary, Modern to Italianate. But not all bricks are created equal, and frankly, some are just plain ugly. […]
“Above and Beyond! They worked with me until things were done right. I had them limewash my home and the limewash was not turning out as nice as we had hoped, so they wen the extra mile to paint the home white. Appreciate their work for sure!”
Had exterior painted. They got out there quickly, did the job in one long day and it looks great and professional. The painters were easy to work with. This was by far my lowest bid as well. Only issue is the company was a little slow on returning calls. Might just be a small company.
Therefore, the guarantee can be considered as a tool to distinguish between a professional and non-professional contractor. 2.220 In summary, if you conduct a brief research before hiring paint contractors, you can hire a decent contractor at a very reasonable price

This review is about an negative experience I had with Steve Gowers (or one or two of his associates) on November 10th.I was driving my 4 year old daughter home from school heading east on 6th Avenue in my little old 99 Honda Civic. It was dark, and the highway was abnormally empty – just us chugging along at the speed limit in the right lane. Soon, a big truck turned on to the highway. It sped up quickly and was soon uncomfortably close behind us. The headlights were so close behind us and so bright that my daughter commented it was like daytime again. They were so bright for me, that they blinded me from seeing the road in front of me. I slowed, so that the truck could pass. He could – the highway was just us – but he chose not to. For at least two miles, the truck tailed me, flashing his brights several times at one point to intimidate us. I kept my cool, just wishing he would pass and leave us alone. The truck followed us a few more miles past that to 14th and Wadsworth, where I presume it was heading. I was able to finally get in a different lane and slow down enough to see the sign on the side of the truck that said “Steven Gowers Drywall and Painting”. There were two men in the truck.I will never knowingly do business with anyone who treats other people this way, or hires people who treat others this way. Next time I will call the police. I hope this information helps you make the same decision.

The great crew at TSP Painting Services painted my whole place. They were very professional and thorough. I liked the fact that they were always on time, neat and clean, and kept me informed about the project from beginning to end. I have recommended TSP Painting Services to friends and co-workers and everyone has been really pleased with their company.

It was a pleasure working with the entire Paint Denver team. Rob, the owner, Tess, the office manager and Gregorio, the foreman painter all did a great job bidding, scheduling and completing my paint job and my place looks great. All the unpainted surfaces, windows, , cabinets, hardware, floors, etc. were properly masked and Gregorio did a great job with the fine line finish details. Their rates were reasonable and competitive and they were able to complete my project quickly and correctly. Next time I need to have a paint job done, they’ll be the first company I contact.
Not offering a warranty is a red flag, and you may want to be cautious about hiring a company that doesn’t provide one. If they have a warranty, ask how long it lasts, and what it covers. Additionally, you’ll want to get the warranty in writing should you need to refer to it later.
